Today was rainy and cloudy and lonely (a bit) so what's better than a corner of cute little bats to roost next to your desk? It reminds me of my favorite bat friend, Marlon, from Vivian French's fabulous Five Kingdom reads.
I started by sketching some bats and stalactites (after Googling actual bats of course).
We've recently switched our gray room into the office so I can get my healthy fix of professionalism and character-enhancing creativity. I painted the bats in the corner above my desk.
It makes the corner so much cozier and these dreary days so much more delightful. (Because bats love dark dripping caves). Until another day...
