You Know What Else Everybody Likes? Parfaits!

How do you get a boy whose idea of breakfast is either an energy drink or 6 crème filled donuts to change his ways? You make a bunch of parfaits and keep them in the fridge.

(This is lovingly dedicated to Jameson Klaser as he starts his new job and should actually eat a good breakfast each morning.)

You don’t need to measure any of these ingredients, the measurements are just guidelines.

3-4 strawberries, sliced
1 c vanilla yogurt
3 tbs. granola*

*You could also use a mixture of rolled oats and crushed graham crackers or I usually just crush up crunchy granola bars. (Nature Valley is amazing for this).

Begin by placing a layer of yogurt (about 1/3 c) in your glass. Sprinkle a layer of granola (about 1 tbs.) and strawberry slices.

Repeat the yogurt, granola, strawberry pattern in layers until your glass is full.

Sprinkle with additional granola or graham cracker crumbs and enjoy!

Vanilla yogurt, traditional granola, blackberries, and bananas.

Plain Greek yogurt, honey, granola, and peach slices.

Pomegranate Greek yogurt, Kashi cereal, sliced almonds, and pomegranate seeds.

Raspberry yogurt, Frosted Wheat cereal, sliced almonds, and raspberries.
