You Know What Else Everybody Likes? Parfaits!

How do you get a boy whose idea of breakfast is either an energy drink or 6 crème filled donuts to change his ways? You make a bunch of parfaits and keep them in the fridge.

(This is lovingly dedicated to Jameson Klaser as he starts his new job and should actually eat a good breakfast each morning.)

You don’t need to measure any of these ingredients, the measurements are just guidelines.

3-4 strawberries, sliced
1 c vanilla yogurt
3 tbs. granola*

*You could also use a mixture of rolled oats and crushed graham crackers or I usually just crush up crunchy granola bars. (Nature Valley is amazing for this).

Begin by placing a layer of yogurt (about 1/3 c) in your glass. Sprinkle a layer of granola (about 1 tbs.) and strawberry slices.

Repeat the yogurt, granola, strawberry pattern in layers until your glass is full.

Sprinkle with additional granola or graham cracker crumbs and enjoy!
