Pecan Crusted Dijon Tilapia

Tilapia is a relatively cheap and mild whitefish, so it’s a great all-purpose fish on a budget. Combine it with a few ingredients you probably have on hand, and enjoy a classy meal in a snap.
2-4 tilapia fillets
½ c mayonnaise
¼ c Dijon mustard
¼ c bread crumbs
½ c pecans*

*You can use any nuts you have on hand. Peanuts or walnuts work well too.

Heat oven to 425 o F.

Line a baking sheet with tin foil and place your tilapia fillets on the sheet.

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Spread the mixture over your fillets.

Next, combine the pecans and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle mixture over the fillets. Bake 10-15 min or until fish is white and flakey in the middle.
