Rainy fall days, chilly fall nights. Snowy winter mornings and brisk winter eves. You best get yourself some boots.
I live out of my boots--they're dark brown (almost black) leather with buckles and furry, soft insides. Forget Uggs, these are gorgeous and so comfy that I wear them while curling up on the couch to catch some Sunday football games.I shelled out the money for my Vince Camuto leather boots last January, when everything was 50% off because people somehow assumed that it would neither snow nor rain after January 1st for the next 11 months. Needless to say, I got some great use out of them for the remainder of the winter season, and now that fall is upon us again, I've been wearing them pretty much daily.
Honestly? The only reason I originally bought skinny jeans was so that they would fit into my boots.
Jeans, dresses, leggings, skirts or shorts with tights--boots go with everything. I love the dark color of mine because they're so versatile. I've had people ask me where I got my boots one day, and then ask me the same question the next day because they think they're a different pair.
Speaking of different pairs... I've got 4 pairs of boots. Super skinny, high-heeled brown ones that make me feel like a fabulous Egyptian archeologist; furry cloth ones that remind me of the water tribe; scrunchy, carmel colored ones that are super trendy; and my go-to-wear-90%-of-the-time-best-purchase-ever pair.
Boots get you through the cold and callous weather while keeping you dry, warm and classy. Got some extra cash and want to treat yourself? I don't care whether you're male or female, you best get yourself some boots!
(And get the good stuff. There's nothing like nice, worn-in, last-forever boots.)
