4 c fresh peach slices (peeled)
2 tbs. flour
1 tsp. lemon juice
½ c sugar
single pie crust
Praline:
½ c pecans (chopped)
½ c brown sugar
¼ c flour
¼ c butter
Heat oven to 450o F.
In a large bowl, combine peaches, flour, lemon juice and sugar. Let it stand and marinate for about 15 min while you prepare the praline and crust.
Meanwhile, combine the pecans, brown sugar, remaining flour, and butter in a food processor until crumbly. Roll out the pie crust and place in pie pan. Poke holes with a fork.
Sprinkle 1/3 of the praline on the bottom of the pie. Add peach filling, then sprinkle top with remaining praline crumbs.
Bake at 450o F for 10 min. Reduce heat to 350o F and bake 20 min longer or until peaches are tender and top is golden brown. OR Bake at 425o F for 45 to 50 min.
