Our Sweet Home

For me, it wasn't getting the keys to our first house that made my heart smile. It's been the process of making the house a home that is one of the most magical exploits ever.

But what makes a house beautiful?

Here's what I think, I think a house is beautiful when it smells like something delicious. I think a house is beautiful when there's a fire in the fireplace. When bookshelves are stockpiled full with the most magnificent tales of all time. When furniture is comfy and sleeping bags are stacked on pounds of pillows on the floor during a movie. When walls can be drawn on or painted or used to display  pictures of our fondest memories. A house is beautiful when a stranger walks in a feels at home.

That's our philosophy. Everything in our house is something that is useful or makes our hearts happy. Think how much sweeter your life and home would be if you left out everything that isn't useful or doesn't make your world more beautiful. That's what we're trying to do. We're trying to utilize every space and to create each room to make us smile.

"Our Sweet Home" is our endeavor to make the house we bought a home. To fill it with beautiful things and even more beautiful memories. It's how we're putting our name over the whole thing, and making it ours.
